Industry on a scale of 1:1

With the help of an innovative AR application, realised by a specially developed localisation system, consultants and trade fair visitors were able to move freely around the stand with a tablet, where a total of 12 room-sized industrial applications could be discovered on a scale of 1:1: an e-bus drove onto the stand out of nowhere and headed for a fast-charging station, a 30-metre-long conveyor belt transported parcels across the exhibition space, and so on.

Last but not least, a number of industrial robots performed their work on the main visitor route. Animated line graphics illustrated the interaction of the hardware and software components involved. Along the “Ability Lane”, the central aisle of the stand, visitors were able to get an interactive 180° view of all Ability solutions of the respective business units via “Virtual Windows”.
